At twenty-four, Clarinda James has lived a traumatic life. One of the last images she saw before losing her sight was that of her parents' death. The nightmares of that time still haunt her every night.  Taken in at nineteen by her sister, Clary didn’t know there was going to be a price to pay, a price far greater than her blindness. It’s not until Blue walks into her life, she realises it’s possible to experience the joy of warmth. In her darkness, Blue will become her beacon, her guide. Little does she know that she’ll need to count on Blue more than she thought she would.

She has to…if she wants to stay alive.

Blue Skies is on the lookout for a woman. Always there to support his brothers, Talon and Griz, he’s not a stranger to the craziness of love or life. Nor is he a stranger to making it clear that comments surrounding his name are out of bounds. Despite the often effed-up situations his brothers find themselves in as a result of their women, he’s more than happy to settle down when he finds his missing piece.

After three weeks of seeing a gorgeous redhead in a café, he refuses to let the opportunity pass him by. Building a tentative relationship with Clary is no easy task; she’s damaged. It’s not until he discovers the truth behind her darkness that he willing lays claim to her. He is determined to protect her, no matter the cost. She is irrefutably his.

I love the Hawks Motorcycle Club, but who doesn’t love a good Motorcycle club. Lila has created one of my favorite Club taking her all the way up to be in my top two.  I loved the first two book of this series and was really excited about Blue’s story, I have grown to love him.
I knew that the girl for Blue would have to be someone really special and she is.

Clarinda James hasn’t had an easy life, it has been a traumatic one.  The last thing she saw before losing her sight was the death of her parents that now gives her nightmares every night. She was taken in by her 19 year old sister but Clary didn’t know that it was going to be for a price, she’s family right. When she meets Blue she didn’t know that he was the beacon of hope she needed.
Blue was on the lookout for a women, someone he could fall in love with. He wanted what Talon and Griz found. He didn’t it. So after seeing an amazing redhead at a café, he refuse to let her be the one that got away. Building a relationship with her will not be easy but after finding out the truth, he claims her as his. Protecting her at all cost. Will Blue get the girl? Can Clary move out of the darkness that’s not from her loss of sight?

I love this book just as much as the other one in the series. I love that Lila can write a powerful book with really well written characters but keep you laughing out loud. As much as I was laughing out loud you need to be warned that tissues are a much with this as well.  Some would have written Clary as helpless but Lila wrote her as strong survivor making her so much more then someone who loss her sight. You will feel for each character and root them on, wanting them to win.

This book has everything you want in a Motorcycle Club book, Sweet but really hot alpha male biker bad asses, Angst, Mystery and really hot Sex, like on fire.

If you haven’t read any of Lila Rose Hawks Motorcycle club books, STOP read this and pick on up. Not just one of them all of them because you’re going to want to read them.

5 out of 5 stars. Love it.

I was born in Brisbane, Australia. My step-dad was in the Army, which caused us to move around a lot. We finally settled in country Victoria, Australia. I am the youngest of four children and I can say that I was spoilt a bit. I drove my mum crazy when I refused to eat meat at a young age. Now I live with my husband and two children, and I find myself regretting all the troubles I put my parents through because my monsters are just as picky as I was.

I started writing in 2013 and self-published the first of the Hawks MC Club series Holding Out. The next to follow was something different, I wrote Senseless Attraction, a YA novel. Soon I was back to the Hawks series with number two Climbing Out. I have more to write in the series, but there will be also be more novels in the humorous erotica genre, like Left to Chance, which is out now.
