Jonathan Livingston SeaGull

Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach.

I read this book at the beginning of the year because some of the other book lovers i talk with said that i should read it. It is only 117 pages broken down in to three parts and it has pictures. It's a one sitting book that you will keep thinking about it for days.

This book is not told from a human perspective but from the perspective of a Seagull named Jonathan. All Jonathan want to do is fly, but not only only fly but be the best flyer he can be. With that he stops eating and flys all day and night much to his other bird friends dismay. everyone else thinks that Jonathan should give up and eat like a seagull should. Jonathan keeps on fly and becomes the best flyer he can be. Their is much more to this book then just that but if you want to know more read it.

what this book teaches you is amazing. This is what i leaned:

You should always from your heart and live life for you and no one else. Don't follow the rules, you should always make your own.

You should always be the best self you can be. You are who you are you shouldn't care what other people think of you.

You are the only person stopping you from doing something is yourself.

Maybe as a human you can't fly because we don't have wings or anything like that but this book makes you want to fly and be as free as you can. If you find something that makes you feel free you should do that and keep doing that. Being and feel free is what everyone wants in life other then love and happiness.

Everyone should read this great book.
